If we had to describe this year’s ISM Cologne with just one sentence, it would probably be this:
We spent far more time standing than sitting.

Before the show started, we were honestly a little nervous. ISM is one of the biggest and most professional confectionery exhibitions in the world, and expectations are always high. We were curious to see how our products would be received this year, and whether our new ideas would truly resonate with international buyers.

The answer came surprisingly fast.

From the first morning of the exhibition, our booth stayed consistently busy. Some visitors were long-term partners who came with specific projects to discuss, while many others were new faces who stopped by after spotting our products on the shelves or displays. Different countries, different accents, and different markets — but very similar questions and interests.

At some point, we jokingly said to each other that this felt less like an exhibition and more like a standing-only meeting marathon.

More Than Just Foot Traffic

A busy booth is nice, but meaningful conversations matter more.

During the show, discussions quickly went beyond prices and MOQs. Buyers were interested in product positioning, packaging formats, market differentiation, and long-term cooperation. Several conversations moved into deeper territory, including exclusive distribution opportunities for selected products in specific markets, which are now under further discussion.

These moments are always the most rewarding — when products are not just viewed, but seriously considered.

Real Feedback, Real Direction

One of the biggest values of ISM is the chance to receive direct, unfiltered market feedback. Some products gained instant attention, others sparked unexpected ideas, and a few were discussed in ways we hadn’t fully anticipated before the show.

These conversations help us refine not only products, but also our future direction.

After the Show

ISM Cologne 2026 has come to an end, but the conversations continue. Follow-ups are underway, projects are moving forward, and the feedback we received will soon be reflected in upcoming product and packaging developments.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our booth.
We look forward to continuing the discussions — and hopefully meeting again very soon.
